Indifference towards European culture is getting stronger. We are a Europe of nations and not a Europe of civilization. We still haven’t built a truly European conscience. The cultural speech is a unifying speech. It is understood that the European speech is dividing because it is political and social. We need to find what is left in order to be bond by a common project. European culture is victim not only of internal issues but also of external ones. The answer to globalization is a civilized one. There is no European culture but European cultures. Any European in any part of Europe knows what is to be a European.
