11OPQR Review 1 Module 5

1.1 Read the text and answer the questions.

1 Why is Stuart going to move to the city?

2 Has he got a car?

3 Where is he going to live in the city?

4 What are his future plans?

Stuart Redman

“I’m going to move to the city because I need to get a job. There are no jobs for me in the country, but I’m going to find one in the city. People say it’s more expensive in the city, but you don’t need a car there and cars are very expensive. I’m going to live in an old part of the city and I can walk to work or go by tube. So I think generally the cost of living is about the same. But I’m going to go back to the country one day. I hate living in the city – it’s dirty, crowded and really noisy at night. When I’m old, I’m going to have a little place somewhere by the sea where it’s really quiet.”

Ela não vai trabalhar de tarde. Eles vão fazer exercício. Eu também vou fazer exercício porque eu vou perder peso. Eu não vou comer mais chocolates. Vais para o ginásio? Hello Susan,

What are you going to do tomorrow? I’m going to study for the English exam. Peter is going to do some revision for the Maths exam. Would you like to have lunch in the school canteen? He is going to call Mary. She isn’t going to work in the afternoon. They are going to do some work out. I’m going to do some exercise too because I’m going to lose weight. I’m not going to eat any more chocolates. Are you going to the gym? We’re going to have holidays at Carnival. Are you going to stay at home? What are you going to do?
