Hi, everyone!

News from Newquay! Every day I meet new friends here. Today I’m having a coffee with an Italian boy, Gianni. He’s a life guard on the beach and he’s staying in the same guest house. Then there’s a girl, Nicola. She’s here for the summer holidays. She’s working for her aunt, who owns a hotel here. During the year she doesn’t live in Newquay but she lives in London with her parents. I like her very much. I’m writing this postcard in a café on the beach. Life is hard!

Yours,

Alan
